Using Lamps as Centerpieces

We are seeing some pretty exciting trends in the event planning world, and one of my new favorite things is using lamps instead of flowers for table centerpieces. Of course, these lamps can be rented through any event supply/rental company and they use LED lights instead of electricity.

Imagine the possibilities! Wouldn't it be cool to use a unique lamp at each table to provide a beautiful focal point? You could use several different kinds of lamps or have everything uniform as they did in the picture above. The upside of this centerpiece is that it can be very green considering you won't be using electricity and LED lamps can be used over and over again!

This type of centerpiece would work with any wedding, however, I think that LED lamps go extremely well with a contemporary event design! Modular furniture, funky lamps and a vibrant color scheme would be awesome! So, if you are planning on having a contemporary cool wedding, rethink your centerpieces because it doesn't always have to be floral to be fabulous!
